On the day my birthday is celebrated, Inferno, the first, transports you to the depths Purgatorio, the second, leads you Both games, fruit of human ingenuity, Inferno, a competitive game, sees you Purgatorio, instead, requires collaboration, In both games, the illustrations of Gustave Doré Dantedì is a day of celebration and culture, May it be for you a source of delight and reflection,
To you, chosen readers, I present myself,
With two new games, pleasing to you.
Of the infernal abyss, where sinners
Endure eternal punishments, among cries and tears.
Up the holy mountain, where souls
Are purified while awaiting Paradise.
Will let you relive, in a playful way,
My sacred poem, the Comedia.
Take on the roles of myself and Virgil,
Meeting the damned and overcoming trials.
Joining me and the master on the journey
Towards eternal salvation, blessed soul.
Bring to life the characters and places of the poem,
Creating an atmosphere rich in suggestion.
An opportunity to rediscover my immortal work,
And these games are a worthy tribute to it.
A way to immerse yourself in my Comedia
And to better know my otherworldly journey.

On the occasion of Dantedì 2024, Top Hat Games wanted to pay tribute to the Supreme Poet with a playful-literary experiment: an article in which Dante Alighieri himself writes in tercets.Praise be to Dantedì!

This was made possible thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, which generated the texts in Dantean style, though not yet, fortunately, with his mastery.

The challenge was to create a text not only inspired by the form and language of the Divine Comedy, but also able to convey the playful message of the two card games: Dante Alighieri Comedia: Inferno™ and Dante Alighieri Comedia: Purgatorio™.

We played with mind and words, just as Dante himself used to do, to celebrate his immortal work and at the same time intrigue readers towards the two playful works. The result is a divertissement that unites poetry with play, technology with tradition. A tribute to Dante Alighieri and his unsurpassed genius, which invites us to rediscover his work with a new and entertaining perspective.
