The Comedy of the Supreme Poet continues among the punishments of sins and the beatitudes of virtues. Accompany the Viatores, the "travelers" Dante and Virgil, through the seven Cornices of Purgatory up to the ascent to the Earthly Paradise, where the poet will arrive «pure and ready to rise to the stars».
THE DANTEAN POEM
Known mainly as The Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieri's poem is written in chained tercets of hendecasyllabic verses, in the Florentine vernacular. The poem is divided into three canticles (Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso), each composed of 33 cantos, in which an imaginary journey through the three otherworldly realms is narrated.
INGREDIENTS
Rulebook in Italian and English, 7 double-sided Viatores tokens and 110 cards: 4 Ante-Purgatory, 3 Earthly Paradise, 7 Cornices, 7 Angels, 7 Sins, 77 Encounters, 2 Characters and 3 Poets, all illustrated with the iconic engravings of Gustave Doré brought back to life thanks to the evocative colors of Demis Savini.
GAME OBJECTIVE
By collaborating, you must allow the Viatores, Dante and Virgil, to ascend the Mountain of Purgatory in order to atone for as many Capital Sins as possible through Encounters and the exercise of the four Cardinal Virtues. But upon reaching the Earthly Paradise, only the most virtuous player will be able to… ascend to the stars.

Dr. Callegarini's scientific contribution supported the development. The needs of those affected by Parkinson's were considered: each person has their own pile so they don't have to hold the cards for long and reveals one card at a time so they don't have to draw from the deck; no dice so they don't have to roll them; no secret information, everything is very accessible so a caregiver can easily contribute.

An organization founded and promoted by volunteers with the aim of helping all patients and their families and pursuing activities and initiatives to promote their well-being. Purgatorio offers additional support for the disabilities of its members as well as providing an opportunity to deepen understanding of issues related to Parkinson's disease.
DANTE RETURNS TO FLORENCE
In the heart of Florence, in Tuscany, at the Bookshop of Palazzo Vecchio, Inferno and Purgatorio are available for purchase thanks to the support of MUS.E. The Supreme Poet returns from Ravenna to his beloved city with this symbolic act that recognizes the value of these playful works, finding a home in the very place where culture is the protagonist throughout History.
